One of the standout benefits of an Eriba caravan is its ability to provide a secure and comfortable shelter, no matter where you decide to set up camp. Whether you're parked in the mountains, by the sea, or in the middle of a bustling city, the caravan's sturdy and weatherproof body will keep you protected from the elements. Its insulation also ensures that you'll stay warm and cozy on chilly nights, and cool on hot summer days. This is especially important for those who are looking for a comfortable camping experience, as traditional camping methods can be less reliable in this regard.
Another advantage of an Eriba caravan is its exceptional mobility. You can take your home away from home anywhere you want, and you'll never have to worry about finding a place to stay. The caravan's mobility gives you the freedom to explore new and exciting destinations, without the stress of pre-booking or searching for the perfect campsite. You'll be able to park up wherever you like, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the great outdoors. This is especially beneficial for those who like to travel and see new things, as you won't be limited by a lack of camping options.
The Eriba caravan is also equipped with all the necessary amenities to make camping a breeze. You'll have a fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping quarters, and plenty of storage space, which makes it easier to pack everything you need. Whether you're cooking up a storm or getting some rest, you'll have everything you need right at your fingertips. This is especially convenient for those who like to cook and prepare their own meals, as you won't have to rely on campfires or public grills.
However, it's worth mentioning that the Eriba caravan isn't perfect for every camping situation. While it offers a high level of convenience, it can be challenging to maneuver in tight spaces or on rough terrain. Additionally, it's a relatively large vehicle, so it may not be the best choice for those looking to escape into the wilds and go off-road. This means that it's important to consider your camping goals and the types of environments you'll be exploring, to determine if an Eriba caravan is the right choice for you.
An Eriba caravan is the ultimate convenient camping experience for those who value comfort and freedom. With its sturdy and weather-proof body, fully-equipped amenities, and exceptional mobility, you'll be able to enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors in style. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an action-packed adventure, an Eriba caravan has got you covered. So pack your bags, hit the road, and discover the beauty of the great outdoors with an Eriba caravan!
]]>It all started in 1932 when Erich Bachem founded the Eriba company. Initially, Bachem was focused on manufacturing lightweight trailers for the German military. After World War II, he shifted his focus to the civilian market and began producing compact and lightweight caravans. In the following years, Eriba became a well-known name in the German camping community, and its caravans were highly sought after for their lightweight design and practicality.
In 1962, Erwin Hymer joined forces with Bachem, and together they established the company, Erwin Hymer GmbH & Co. KG. With Hymer’s business acumen and Bachem’s technical expertise, the two men continued to push the boundaries of caravan design and innovation. They introduced new features such as the first pop-up roof, which allowed for greater interior space and comfort.
By the 1970s, Eriba had become one of the leading manufacturers of caravans in Europe. Their products were renowned for their quality, innovation, and style, and they quickly became the benchmark for other caravan manufacturers to aspire to. The company continued to grow, expanding into new markets and acquiring new brands along the way.
In the 1990s, Eriba entered the American market with its "Touring" model, which was designed specifically for the North American market. The Touring model was an instant hit, and Eriba soon became a well-known name in the United States. The company continued to evolve, incorporating new technologies and materials into its caravans, making them lighter, stronger, and more comfortable.
Today, Eriba is a subsidiary of the Erwin Hymer Group, one of the largest manufacturers of recreational vehicles in the world. The company's commitment to quality and innovation has never wavered, and its caravans continue to be highly sought after by camping enthusiasts across Europe and North America.
In conclusion, the story of Eriba is the story of two men who had a vision of creating the perfect caravan. Through their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to quality, Erich Bachem and Erwin Hymer established a legacy that continues to this day. Eriba caravans are more than just recreational vehicles, they are a symbol of freedom, adventure, and a way of life. Whether you're a seasoned camper or a newcomer to the world of caravanning, an Eriba caravan is sure to provide you with years of memories and endless adventures.

Rarely have the past and future been more beautiful together. The unique retro look of the ERIBA Touring is a tribute to the success story of this iconic and much loved caravan.
I've used Montana Colors paint for a few years now and I absolutely can't fault it. I have used it to paint a number of things namely my 1998 Suzuki Vitara and my 1979 Eriba Puck. My choice of colour isn't everyone's "cup of tea" but with the massive selection of colours that MTN offer there is definitely something to suit all tastes.
I'm happy to say after talking with montana Colors I have arrange to add the MTN range and RAL range to my site. Initially in select colours (That are representative of the original Eriba paint colours), however the full selection is available on demand just send me an email and I'll take care of it all. There are 217 colours to choose from 😍 - I love the matt finish of MTN 94 but there is also gloss available MTN Hardcore. You can even clear coat varnish your MTN 94.
MTN is easy to work with, fast drying and very resistant to scratches and dirt. Perfect for a DIY respray on a budget, with pro results.
Over time I will update all the colours and the full rage of PRO products such as primers, bumper paints, metallics etc..
I'm incredibly excited to offer this product to my customers, it's a product that absolutely love and I hope it can be useful for you too!
Check it out on the site here:

Whatever the reason you need replacement keys for there is a solution out there for you! If you need any further help or advice please do send me a message.
]]>After our trip around France last year, one thing that was missing was hot water. For showering, washing up, maybe even rinsing my knickers after a long day of hiking the Cirque de Gavarnie.
Enter the Kampa Geyser, I searched the options and read the reviews. There are lots of options out there including boiling a kettle and swabbing yourself from a bucket of soapy water. None appeared as turn key as the Kampa unit.
It comes in a nice no frills canvas case with a shower head, pump and power cord. This works on 12v DC only, so perfect for plugging into the car or power station (I'll update power consumption more as we begin using it.)
Conveniently we will be using our Campingaz 907 bottles to fuel it. Here is a list of additional items I needed to make it all work, including a cool quick release gas adaptor that will make switching between the gas hob, water heater, Ooni Pizza Oven or any other gas equipment you might have super quick and easy..
What you'll need to make your life easier!
Equipment you'll need:
Hopefully the parts and water heater are all self explanatory to set up and the photos above should act as rough guide on how short to cut the hose for the fittings etc.
These quick release fittings make life so much easier when on the road, you can use one gas bottle for all your appliances without having to swap regulators or be tied to the gas bottle location. Also makes storing your gas appliances easier as each will now have it's own permanent quick release fitting..
So what started as a product shout out turned into a mini how-to guide. If you need any further info on this simple and time saving modification just send me a message!
